Steamforged Games' partnership together with Jagex is the most recent in a long line of collaborations that bring a variety of the biggest gaming franchises into a tabletop setting. The tabletop gaming giant has previously created board video games that are based on collections like Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and has recently completed a hugely successful Kickstarter advertising campaign for a Resident Evil 2 board sport that raised over 1 million GBP ahead of time this year.
The developer has outlined its points of interest in the world that is Gielinor and RuneScape and plans to launch both a board game and an RPG center tabletop e-e book in the coming year. The RPG diversifications will feature many of the most well-known RuneScape characters and locations, allowing players as many as five players to take on traditional quests in RuneScape and bring the adventure inside the world of Gielinor home.
Players can create and enhance gadgets and interact with NPCs and take on many side quests that are triggered by methods of the traditional game.
